Waka Flocka Flame Thinks Minorities Are Immune To Coronavirus, Calls It’s ‘Fake’

Los Angeles, CA – As the coronavirus pandemic continues to cripple the economy and incite fear across the globe, some people aren’t really concerned — and Waka Flocka Flame is one them.

During an interview with Real 92.3 LA, he and his wife Tammy Rivera talked about their relationship and a myriad other topics.

Around the 11:40-minute mark, the subject COVID-19 came up and the self-admitted “wack rapper” claimed he was essentially immune to the virus and flatly stated it wasn’t even real.

“It’s fake … Minorities can’t catch it,” he said. “Name one though. We all descended from the same persons. Now, did we catch it? It hit the people passing through our airport Atlanta], it ain’t touch them soulful folks.”

Obviously, the notion minorities can’t catch the novel coronavirus is factually incorrect. The NBA suspended the 2020 season after Utah Jazz players Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell — both black — tested positive for COVID-19.
