21 SAVAGE

21 Savage has announced the ‘American Dream’ North American Tour with special guests J.I.D, Nardo Wick, and 21 Lil Harold. The 30-date trek runs May 1 – June 15, wrapping up in his hometown of Atlanta. There isn’t a NYC headline show, but he’s playing Governors Ball.

WILLIE NELSON’S OUTLAW MUSIC FEST TOUR 2024

Willie Nelson has announced the 2024 edition of his Outlaw Music Festival Tour, and this year’s lineup includes Bob Dylan, Robert Plant & Alison Krauss, John Mellencamp, Brittney Spencer, Billy Strings, and more, varying by date.

BEST FRIENDS FOREVER FEST

Las Vegas is getting a new emo (and emo-adjacent) festival called Best Friends Forever this October, and this one’s got a wider scope than nostalgia for the genre’s most popular era. It’s primarily made up of bands from the more indie-centric ’90s and 2010s-to-present eras, and it’s got a handful of rare sets and reunions. Check out the lineup here.

SAD SUMMER FEST

Touring pop punk festival Sad Summer Fest returns this year with headliners Mayday Parade and The Maine, plus The Wonder Years, Real Friends, Knuckle Puck, and more. More info here.

LES SAVY FAV

NYC rabble rousers Les Savy Fav just announced their first album in 14 years, and even better, will tour for it.

PHISH

Following their shows at Las Vegas’ Sphere and ahead of the return of their camping festival, Phish will do multi-night runs in cities throughout the US in July and August.

OCEANS CALLING FESTIVAL

Do you like “all kinds of music”? Ocean City, MD has a festival for you.

THE MENZINGERS / LUCERO / THE DIRTY NIL

Fresh off releasing Some Of It Was True, The Menzingers hit the road with Lucero and The Dirty Nil in June.

KING WOMAN

Oakland doom trio King Woman have announced a West Coast tour happening in late March, with stops in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Sacramento, Reno and Portland. The band say more dates will be announced soon.

SICK NEW WORLD SIDE SHOWS

The nu-metal leaning festival Sick New World returns to Las Vegas on Saturday, April 27, and some artists playing added headlining dates surrounding it, including Lamb of God, Front 242, and more.

MIRACLE LEGION

College rock vets Miracle Legion are full on surprises lately, having just announced a reissue of their debut album and a reunion tour leading up to their appearance at Wilco’s Solid Sound Festival.

MATES OF STATE

San Francisco indie rock vets Mates of State will go on the “Still the One” tour for most of July, with stops in Boston, Philly, Detroit, Chicago, Kansas City, Nashville, DC, NYC (Bowery Ballroom on 7/26), and more.

STUFF YOU SHOULD KNOW PODCAST

Josh Clark and Chuck Bryant are taking their popular podcast “Stuff You Should Know” on tour later this year, with late May live tapings in Boston, DC and NYC (Town Hall on 5/31), August shows in Chicago, Minneapolis, and Indianapolis, and September dates in Durham and Atlanta.

ARMAND HAMMER

When Armand Hammer toured earlier this year, they released a vinyl-only, tour-only album called BLK LBL, and now you’ve got another chance to pick the record. The duo are hosting BLK LBL vinyl pop-ups happening in NYC and Los Angeles this weekend.

JANE PENNY (TOPS)

TOPS singer Jane Penny is releasing her solo debut in April, and has a few shows scheduled as well.

ANASTASIA COOPE

Singer-songwriter Anastasia Coope has announced she’s signed to Jagjaguwar, who will release her debut album, ‘Darning Woman,’ on May 24, She’s also got shows lined up.

BOSTON CALLING SET TIMES

Boston Calling returns for its 2024 edition on Memorial Day Weekend, May 24-26, at Harvard Athletic Complex, and this year’s set times have now been announced. Headliners Ed Sheeran (on Friday), Tyler Childers (on Saturday), and The Killers (on Sunday) play unopposed each night, but earlier in the day there are some conflicts throughout the festival’s four stages.
