SHALLIPOPI / ODUMODUBLVCK

Afrobeats artists (and “Cast” collaborators) Shallipopi and ODUMODUBLVCK have announced their co-headlining “Nigeria’s Most Wanted Tour” of the US, hitting Minneapolis, Boston, NYC (Irving Plaza on 5/2), Silver Spring, Atlanta, LA, San Francisco, Houston, and Dallas. Tickets go on sale Friday (3/8) at 10 AM local, with presales beginning Wednesday (3/6).

AIR

Air have announced they’ll bring their Moon Safari tour to North America this fall. This will be their first North American headline tour in seven years, and the first time the French band have ever played their classic debut album in full on this continent. The tour includes their first NYC headline show in 14 years.

GUITAR WOLF

Japanese “jet rock” icons Guitar Wolf have announced their first North American tour in five years, as well as a sequel to their cult zombie flick Wild Zero.

KIM GORDON

Kim Gordon’s new solo album is out this week, and she just announced a tour.

OUTLAW COUNTRY CRUISE 2025

The Outlaw Country Cruise has announced its 2025 edition, sailing February 22-28 from Miami, FL to Nassau, Bahamas & St. Thomas. The lineup includes Old Crow Medicine Show, John Hiatt, Lucinda Williams, Steve Earle, Dave Alvin & Jimmie Dale Gilmore With The Guilty Ones, and lots more.

ROCK THE BELLS CRUISE

The 2024 Rock the Bells Cruise sails November 13-17 from Miami to the Bahamas, and the lineup includes Jadakiss, E-40, Rakim, Talib Kweli, Digable Planets, AZ, and more.

METHOD MAN / REDMAN

Method Man and Redman have a few shows on the horizon, including a 4/20 show in NYC that’s actually on 4/19 and with Styles P.

BEST FRIENDS FOREVER

After announcing its inaugural lineup a week ago, Las Vegas emo (and emo-adjacent) festival Best Friends Forever has revealed its lineup by day.

STARS ‘SET YOURSELF ON FIRE’ TOUR

Stars‘ classic third album Set Yourself on Fire turns 20 this year, and they’ll celebrate on a fall North American tour.

CLOUD NOTHINGS

Cloud Nothings have announced a tour in support of their upcoming album Final Summer.

THE DRESDEN DOLLS

Amanda Palmer and Brian Viglione have a few Dresden Dolls shows lined up this year, including Austin, Dallas, Atlanta, and Nashville this month, and newly added Philly and DC dates in June. See their full schedule here.

LITURGY

Liturgy released their fantastic double album 93696 last year, and they’ve announced a North American tour supporting it. They’ll be on the road in May and June with Body Void joining them for most shows.

ORCHID

Screamo legends Orchid have announced openers for their reunion shows, including Dropdead, Loma Prieta, NØ MAN, Gel, The HIRS Collective, Uniform, Slow Fire Pistol, Lathe of Heaven, Carnivorous Bells, and more, varying by date.

KORN

Korn will celebrate the 30th anniversary of their self-titled debut album with a special Los Angeles show this fall.

JIM WHITE & MARISA ANDERSON

Drummer Jim White and guitarist Marisa Anderson are following up their 2020 album The Quickening with Swallowtail, which will be out May 10 via Thrill Jockey. They’ll tour for it too, including a string of dates with Myriam Gendron. The NYC stop on that run happens May 16 at Le Poisson Rouge.

JOSH HOMME & FRIENDS BENEFIT

Josh Homme has put together an all-star benefit on March 20 at The Belasco in Los Angeles. The many performers include Beck, Bill Burr, Dave Grohl, Matt Helders of Arctic Monkeys, Jesse Hughes of Eagles of Death Metal, Troy Van Leeuwen and Michael Shuman (QOTSA), Sarah Silverman, Chad Smith (RHCP), St. Vincent, The Kills, Tyler Parkford, Vivant, and Justin Willman. 100% of proceeds from the show will benefit the Sweet Stuff Foundation, the non-profit created by the Homme family in 2013 to provide assistance to career musicians, recording engineers and their families struggling with illness and disability.

OF MONTREAL

of Montreal just announced their 19th album and an accompanying tour.

DRAKE

Drake is on tour now, and he just added two more NYC-area shows to the end of the run.

SEA.HEAR.NOW 2024

Asbury Park, NJ festival Sea.Hear.Now has announced its 2024 edition, happening on September 14 and 15 at North Beach and Bradley Park. Headlining this year are Noah Kahan on Saturday and Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band on Sunday, and you can check out the whole lineup here.

PROJECT PABST 2024

Portland, OR’s Project Pabst festival is back for the first time in seven years, happening July 27 & 28 at Waterfront Park. They’ve just announced the lineup which includes Big Thief, Billy Idol, T-Pain, Manchester Orchestra, Violent Femmes, and more.

WAND

Wand are back with their first new music in five years and they’ll be touring this year as well, including dates with Red Hot Chili Peppers.

ML BUCH

ML Buch is touring North America in June and the Brooklyn show at Elsewhere on June 22 sold out, so she’s added a second show, this time at Public Records on June 23.

SPENCER KRUG (WOLF PARADE)

Dan Boeckner isn’t the only Wolf Parade co-vocalist bringing a solo project on tour this year. Spencer Krug just announced a run in June (they actually play Chicago the same day) in support of his 2023 album I Just Drew This Knife. They’re being billed as “solo synth” shows, with stops in Detroit, Chicago, Philadelphia, Brooklyn, Montreal, and more.

LA LUZ

La Luz have announced a new album, News of the Universe, which will be out May 24 via Sub Pop. You can catch them on tour this fall.

HABIBI

Habibi are back with Dreamachine, their first album in four years and their first for Kill Rock Stars. It’s out May 31 and they’ll be on tour as well.

BLOOMSDAY

New York-based artist Iris James Garrison has announced a new album as Bloomsday and some accompanying shows.
