OSEES OPENERS (UPCHUCK, FAMOUS MAMMALS, MORE)

OSEES will be busy this summer and fall on a North American tour, and they’ve just announced the openers, which include Famous Mammals, Amplified Heat, Godcaster, Iguana Death Cult, Upchuck, Hataalii, Timmy’s Organism, Bronze, and Death Sentence: Panda! The tour hits Brooklyn at Warsaw on 10/24 with Godcaster and Warsaw on 10/25 with Upchuck.

WEEN

Ween are celebrating their 40th anniversary this year on tour.

PHISH

Phish are throwing a multi-night camping festival for the first time since 2015 in August, and they’ve announced details and tickets for Mondegreen.

MITSKI

Mitski begins her tour supporting 2023’s album of the year The Land is Inhospitable and So Are We later this month, and she’s added new dates in August and September. Alro Parks and Ethel Cain are among the openers.

KIM GORDON

Kim Gordon has a new solo album out in March and has announced a tour to go with it.

FAYE WEBSTER

Faye Webster will release her new album Underdressed at the Symphony in March, and has just announced 2024 North American dates supporting it. Those include festival appearances (Bonnaroo, Governors Ball) along with headline dates with openers Benét, Upchuck, and Julie.

JANET JACKSON / NELLY

Janet Jackson has announced a new round of 2024 dates for her “Together Again” tour, which in 2023 celebrated her 50th anniversary in entertainment, the 24th anniversary of The Velvet Rope (home of “Together Again”), and the 30th anniversary of janet. The 35 new dates run through the US in June and July, starting in Palm Desert, CA and wrapping up in Phoenix. Nelly opens all the shows.

LAKE STREET DIVE

Lake Street Dive have a couple big US shows lined up for later this year, including a sold-out show at Red Rocks with the Colorado Symphony and NYC’s Madison Sqaure Garden on September 14. All dates are here.

NICKI MINAJ

Nicki Minaj’s tour supporting last year’s Pink Friday 2 starts in March, and she’s added more shows in several cities.

GOVERNORS BALL 2024

NYC festival Governors Ball announced its 2024 lineup today and you can check that out here.

BAS

Bas will support his new album We Only Talk About Real Shit When We’re Fucked Up on tour in March and April. The tour wraps up in NYC at >Irving Plaza on 4/9.

LIONEL RICHIE / EARTH WIND & FIRE

Lionel Richie and Earth Wind & Fire are extending their “Sing a Song All Night Long” tour into 2024, with a 13-date run of shows including Knoxville, Memphis, Orlando, Tulsa, Columbus, Pittsburgh and more.

MADNESS

Madness were set to tour the US in 2020 around their appearance at Las Vegas fest Punk Rock Bowling. That didn’t happen, because almost nothing happened that year after March, but the UK ska/pop icons have now announced a new US tour that also surrounds their 2024 appearance at Punk Rock Bowling.

SUM 41 / THE INTERRUPTERS

Sum 41 have announced their “last headlining world tour” in support of their upcoming farewell double album Heaven x Hell, and they’re taking The Interrupters out with them.

THE RAVEONETTES

Danish duo The Raveonettes have announced their most extensive US trek since 2014.

SCHELLRAISER 2024

The Raveonettes’ tour includes a stop at NV fest Schellraiser that also features Mercury Rev, Ladytron, Mike Berenyi Trio (Lush), Besnard Lakes, and more.

DRY CLEANING

Dry Cleaning have announced a short 2024 US tour around SXSW and Treefort Fest in March, that includes two-night stands in Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco and NYC.

CYPRESS HILL / PHARCYDE / SOULS OF MISCHIEF

Cypress Hill have announced the “We Legalized It” tour, which has them out this spring with The Pharcyde and Souls of Mischief.

COLISEUM

Coliseum recently made a surprise return with the new album Infinity Shit (under the slightly new name C.L.S.M.), and now they’re getting ready to celebrate their 20th anniversary with some reunion shows in their hometown of Louisville. Night one (4/20) is already sold out, but tickets for 4/21 are on sale here.

BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME / THE ACACIA STRAIN

Between the Buried and Me and The Acacia Strain have announced a tour together and they’ll both be playing albums in full. They’ll be doing two nights in each city, with BTBAM playing 2007’s Colors on night one and 2021’s Colors II on night two, and The Acacia Strain playing 2023’s Step Into the Light plus select songs from 2004’s 3750 and 2014’s Coma Witch on night one, and their other 2023 album Failure Will Follow plus “Carbomb” from 3750 on night two.

FUMING MOUTH

New England death metallers Fuming Mouth are gearing up for a big tour with GWAR, and they also added headlining shows in Buffalo, Cleveland, and Milwaukee. Read about their new album Last Day of Sun on our list of our favorite metal albums of 2023.

RIPPED TO SHREDS 

San Jose death metallers Ripped To Shreds are set to return to the East Coast and Midwest this spring. They’ll be joined by Chicago sci-fi death metallers Nucleus for what’s been dubbed the “No Sleeves Attached” tour.

THE MARY WALLOPERS

Dundalk, Ireland’s The Mary Wallopers have announced a North American tour in continued support of their 2023 album Irish Rock N’ Roll. The tour begins in Brooklyn at Warsaw on April 19 and from there heads to Boston, Toronto, Cleveland, Columbus, Chicago, Vancouver, Seattle and Berkeley, CA.

JIVEBOMB (opening for SHELTER / CIV)

Rising Baltimore hardcore band Jivebomb were added to the Bowery Ballroom stop of the joint Shelter / CIV reunion shows, and they’ll also help their friends Broken Vow celebrate their new album Anthropocene with a Northeast release weekender. They also just put out a new Audiotree session:

JESUS PIECE / SANGUISUGABOGG

Two supremely heavy metal/hardcore-blending bands, Jesus Piece and Sanguisugabogg, have announced a co-headlining tour for this spring, with support coming from Oklahoma City slammers Peeling Flesh and Olympia hardcore band Gag.

THE OBSESSED / HOWLING GIANT / GOZU

Doom veterans The Obsessed have announced a tour with Howling Giant and Gozu in support of their upcoming album Gilded Sorrow, due February 16 via Ripple Music. All dates (including The Meadows on 4/12 in Brooklyn) here.

PERNICE BROTHERS

Pernice Brothers have announced their first album in five years, and frontman Joe Pernice has a couple solo dates on the horizon.

PSYMON SPINE

Brooklyn band Psymon Spine have announced new album Head Body Connector, which will be out February 23 via Northern Spy Records. They’ll be on tour in March surrounding their appearance at SXSW and the tour wraps up in Brooklyn on March 23 at Baby’s All Right. They’ve got UK/EU dates as well. Head here for all dates.

ALLAH-LAS

California’s surfy Allah-Las have announced spring tour dates, which have them out on the East Coast and Midwest in April.

LIP CRITIC

NYC’s Lip Critic signed to Partisan Records back in October, and now they’ve shared their second single for the label and announced their first-ever headline tour.

PORIJ

Manchester, UK band Porij will release their debut album, ‘Teething,’ in April, and they’ve got US dates, including stops at SXSW and Treefort Fest.

MX LONELY

Brooklyn’s Mx Lonely are gearing up to release their Spit EP on February 6, and their tour starts before that.

HOLIDAY GHOSTS

Cornwall, UK band Holiday Ghosts, who just announced a new album, will play US shows in March.
