Here’s a roundup of recent tour news. Check the Tour Dates category for more.

British singer, songwriter and rapper Craig David has announced the “7 Days Commitment” Tour, which actually has eight dates in May, hitting Las Vegas (Lovers & Friends fest), San Francisco, Atlanta, NYC (Palladium Times Square on 5/10), Toronto, Chicago, Philadelphia, and Washington, DC.

UK band Yard Act release their second album in a couple weeks and they’ve just announced fall tour dates (including a NYC show with a BrooklynVegan presale).

European dark folk group Heilung have added more shows to their US leg of their Amplified History Tour in April, playing Boston, Hartford, DC and Milwaukee ahead of their big Red Rocks shows. They note: “This will be Heilungs last US tour for the foreseeable future.”

Warpaint formed on Valentine’s Day 2004, and to celebrate their 20th anniversary they’ve just dropped a new single and announced a West Coast tour.

Toronto melodic hardcore band Mil-Spec released one of last year’s best punk albums with Marathon, and the band doesn’t tour very often, so it’s exciting that they’ll be hitting the road this year, with a Japan run in March followed by an East Coast US/Canada run in April. Even more exciting is that the US/Canada shows will be with the great California hardcore band Diztort and the fast-rising Florida hardcore band Collateral.

Furnace Fest returns to the Sloss Furnaces in Birmingham, Alabama for an “end of an era” (though not necessarily final) edition from October 4-6, and they’ve been gradually rolling out the lineup. Today, they made a very exciting addition: mathcore/metalcore greats Coalesce‘s first-announced show in 12 years! No word yet on if they’re planning more, but stay tuned.

Death metal band Kontusion (members of Mammoth Grinder, Repulsion, and more) recently gave their 2022 debut EP a vinyl release and now they’re celebrating with three shows, including one in Richmond, one at NJ’s Salty’s Beach Bar on 2/24 opening for Vomit Forth and Jarhead Fertilizer (alongside Silenus and Lunar Blood), and a headlining show at Ridegewood, NY’s TV Eye on 2/25 with Infandus, Vermindog, and Shatter. They also play Maryland Deathfest.

The Magnetic Fields are celebrating the 25th anniversary of their classic triple album 69 Love Songs by performing it in full across two-night stands in cities across America. They’ve just announced fall dates, which include stops in DC, Austin, Boulder, Portland and Seattle.

Atlanta-via-Chattanooga rapper bbymutha has announced a new album, sleep paralysis, and a tour.

R&B singer Jacquees will be on tour in March and April, with shows in Sacramento, Los Angeles, London, Paris, Myrtle Beach, and NYC (Webster Hall on 4/15).
