Max B to Headline MIKE’s Young World Festival

MIKE’s annual Young World festival is returning to Brooklyn’s Herbert Von King Park this summer, with Max B and MIKE himself set to headline. The free, all-ages event takes place on July 11 from 4:30 to 9 p.m. Eastern, as part of New York’s SummerStage series. More acts will be announced in the coming weeks.

MIKE launched Young World in 2019. The festival took a break during the pandemic, and last year’s edition—billed as Young World V—was abruptly canceled, with no reason given. His set this year will mark the stage debut of the Band of the Century, the live outfit he corraled last year for his Tiny Desk Concert.

Max B, meanwhile, has had an active year on the live circuit following his release from prison last November, after 16 years behind bars. The following month, he released the mixtape Public Domain 7: The Purge, with verses from A$AP Rocky and Kehlani, among others.
