Kendrick Lamar responds to Drake on 6+ minute song “Euphoria”

Kendrick Lamar has responded to Drake with a new six-minute song called “Euphoria” that reacts to Drake’s recent diss tracks “Push Ups” and “Taylor Made Freestyle,” the latter of which used AI to recreate 2Pac and Snoop Dogg’s voices, which Drake removed from streaming services after a legal letter from 2Pac’s estate. “Know you a master manipulator, and a bitch, you a liar too,” Kendrick raps on the somber first verse. “But don’t tell no lie ’bout me, and I won’t tell truths ’bout you.”

Then the beat drops and the song takes a turn for something more aggressive, and Kendrick keeps going in, including a line about making Pac turn in his grave and “I like Drake with the melodies, I don’t like Drake when he act tough.” At one point he asks, “Am I battling ghosts or AI?” He says Drake knows nothing about raising a son, and he hints that he can keep going if Drake wants more where this came from. It’s a lot, and you can hear it below.

As a recap, this latest beef started after J. Cole referred to himself, Kendrick, and Drake as the top 3 on Drake’s “First Person Shooter,” and Kendrick responded with a verse on Future & Metro Boomin’s “Like That” with the line “Motherfuck the big three, n****, it’s just big me.” Cole then put out the Kendrick diss “7 Minute Drill,” which he since removed from streaming services and publicly apologized for. The Kendrick/Drake beef, meanwhile, has been stirring for over a decade.
