Kara Major Unveils New EDM-Hip-Hop Anthem "White Collar Gangsta"

Inspired by the 2008 subprime mortgage crisis, “White Collar Gangsta” showcases Kara Major ‘s ability to blend personal insights with high-energy sound. The track serves as a commentary on the financial irresponsibility and corruption she witnessed firsthand. In an exclusive interview, Kara explains, “I work in the financial industry and just couldn’t believe the financial treachery I was witnessing.

The music video opens with a snippet of President George W. Bush addressing the nation during the 2008 financial crisis, setting the stage for Kara’s exploration of the “white collar gangsta” mentality. Throughout the video, Kara Major embodies corporate chic while delivering hard-hitting verses. Scenes featuring chess-inspired makeup, cascading money packs, and a bull mask further emphasize the themes of strategy, wealth, and resilience.

Kara Major‘s seamless blend of EDM and hip-hop creates a unique sonic landscape for “White Collar Gangsta.” Working with her producer, Vinny, Kara translated the original hip-hop track into an EDM-infused anthem.

Kara hopes the track motivates listeners to become as creative and crafty as these modern-day gangstas. She aims to inspire listeners to learn the language of finance, protect their assets, and grow their wealth. Looking ahead, Kara is gearing up for her next release, “Can’t Control Me”.
