Eminem Shares Alfred Hitchcock Origins Of ‘Music To Be Murdered By’

Eminem took inspiration from one the greatest filmmakers all time for his new album Music To Be Murdered By. After dropping the surprise LP, Em shouted out acclaimed director Alfred Hitchcock for inspiring the project.

Slim Shady’s latest work reuses the title and recreates the cover art the 1958 album Alfred Hitchcock Presents Music To Be Murdered By. Marshall Mathers’ 11th studio LP also includes samples Hitchcock speaking on the appropriately titled “Alfred” interlude and outro.

“Inspired by the master, Uncle Alfred! #MusicToBeMurderedBy,” Em wrote on Twitter.

Slim Shady’s version Music To Be Murdered By contains 20 tracks with production by Dr. Dre and Alchemist, among others. The LP features collaborations with Royce Da 5’9, Black Thought, Q-Tip, KXNG Crooked, Joell Ortiz, the late Juice Wrld and many more.
