Baddiel and Skinner lead entertainment world reactions to England Euros victory

David Baddiel and Frank Skinner are among the figures from the entertainment world celebrating the England football team’s victory over Germany at Euro 2020 today.

Baddiel shared a picture at the game with his comedy partner, whose track with the Lightning Seeds ‘Three Lions’ has become one of the country’s most enduring football anthems.

He posted the simple caption ‘It’s…’, a reference to the track’s ‘It’s coming home’ refrain. He later posted a picture with Olympic athlete Mo Farah, saying “Might be coming home a bit faster with this lovely fellow on hand.”

A number of entertainers referenced Baddiel and Skinner’s iconic single. “OMG IT’S ACTUALLY COMING HOME,” tweeted rapper, boxer and YouTuber KSI. “ITS COMIN’ …… ROME” said Tom Grennan, referencing the venue of England’s next game.
