YG seems to be entering the new decade with a more inclusive outlook on life.
The Compton-bred rapper issued an apology to the LGBTQ community Twitter on New Years Eve, although the exact reasons for the apology are currently unclear.
Whatever shifted his perspective on people identifying as LGBTQ seems to have helped him realize his worldview needed updating. YG said, “it’s been brought to my attention that my old views on life was ignorant.”
He continued, “i apologize to the LGBTQ kommunity for ever komin across like i was anything but respectful and accepting. Live. Love. Ya Life. Gang!”

Some fans are speculating whether the apology is related to ex-girlfriend and openly bisexual singer, Kehlani, whom YG had only recently been dating. The couple went public with their relationship in September last year, only for YG to deny cheating on her a month later, after a video surfaced online him kissing another woman.
According to reports, Kehlani confirmed she had split from YG in December.
