As we near the two-year anniversary of XXXTentacion’s tragic shooting death, the rapper’s mother is brightening up his fan’s days by sharing a new picture of his only son, marking how similar the two look.

XXXTentacion was not around to welcome his son, Gekyume Onfroy, into the world. His girlfriend, Jenesis Sanchez, has shown off pictures of their little one, ogling over how the two look ridiculously alike. A new photo by Cleopatra Bernard confirms that.

“Caption this,” asked XXX’s mom on Instagram. The image shows Gekyume standing next to a picture of his rapper father as a baby, pointing to the framed display. Many of the commentators presumed he was asking if the picture is of himself.

You can clearly see how Gekyume took a lot after his dad. The 1-year-old hears all kinds of nice stories about the “Moonlight” star every day, as both Cleo and Jenesis have promised to teach him about his father’s greatness as he grows up.

The little one is growing so fast. It feels like, with each new photo, he’s starting to look even more like his dad. Soon, he’ll be dropping angsty and emotive music for the world to consume and enjoy.
