Wyclef Jean, Teyana Taylor, Ferg, more playing Harlem Festival of Culture this weekend
Back in April of last year, founder Musa Jackson announced that the inaugural Harlem Festival of Culture, inspired by 1969’s Harlem Cultural Festival and Questlove’s award-winning documentary about it, Summer of Soul (…Or, When the Revolution Could Not Be Televised), would take place in NYC in 2023. It happens this weekend, Friday, July 28-Sunday, July 30 at Randall’s Island, headlined by Ferg on Friday, Teyana Taylor on Saturday, and Wyclef Jean on Sunday.
The festival’s 2023 lineup also features Bell Biv Devoe, Cam’ron, Doug E. Fresh, Mase, Estelle presents “The Link Up” featuring Lumidee, Max Glazer, Mr. Killa, Nadine Sutherland, Nina Sky, Rupee, Serani, Wayne Wonder, and more on Friday; Jozzy, Major, Muni Long, Tink, and more on Saturday; and Adam Blackstone, Coco Jones, Eric Bellinger, Fat Joe, Remy Ma, Ro James, and more on Sunday.
