Watch TXT’s Yeonjun help a fan propose after the band’s Atlanta concert

Yeonjun of K-pop boyband Tomorrow X Together (TXT) recently assisted a fan’s proposal after the band’s solo concert in Atlanta.

TXT recently played a concert at Atlanta’s State Farm Arena on May 29, and held a “send-off” event for fans to interact with the band up close after the show. Later that night, Yeonjun took to fan community platform Weverse to share his experience with one fan, who had enlisted the K-pop idol’s help in order to propose to his partner.

“A male fan suddenly gave me a piece of paper. The paper asked me to help him propose to his girlfriend. So I was like, ‘What is this?’” Yeonjun wrote in a series of posts on the platform, as translated by Koreaboo.

“He suddenly asked me to film it with his phone and he actually proposed to his MOA (the name for TXT’s fanbase) girlfriend,” he shared. “The other MOAs next to him also started clapping and congratulating them. The male MOA cried and the girlfriend MOA also looked really happy.”

The proposal he filmed was eventually uploaded to X (formerly Twitter), and even briefly features Yeonjun himself reacting to the proposal. The video went viral, with the original poster, @maltigyuuuu, sharing pictures of himself and his fiancee, as well as the piece of paper he handed to Yeonjun.

“I was the MOA that was proposed to last night at sendoff with Yeonjun’s help,” he wrote in his post. “Thank you so much everyone for the congratulations! I’m going to cherish this moment forever.”

In a final comment on Weverse, Yeonjun shared that he felt “so proud” and “so happy” to have been a part of the couple’s special moment. “If the two of you see this, please let’s meet again after you get married. It’s become an unforgettable memory for me.”
