Watch Joe Hertz put his personal spin on a Bill Withers traditional

RE:COVER is a brand new FACT sequence wherein our favorite artists reinterpret songs by their heroes.

For the newest instalment, we tasked Brixton-based R&B producer Joe Hertz with placing his personal spin on a track that has been a supply of inspiration since properly earlier than he began making music, Grover Washington Jr. and Bill Withers’ timeless ‘Just The Two Of Us’.

We visited Hertz’s north London studio for the distinctive session, the place he enlisted vocalist Amber-Simone, whose newest launch, ‘Strawberry Kisses’, was produced by Joe, and guitarist Luke Wynter, who is likely one of the key collaborators on Joe’s forthcoming album, to jam out the stripped-back and sensual cowl.

Check out the session above, and re-visit Kwake Bass taking on Radiohead’s ‘Idioteque’, Jacques covering The Beatles’ ‘Blackbird’ and Nabihah Iqbal re-working The Cure’s ‘A Forest’.
