“It’s my sexiest song by far,” the singer tells Rolling Stone

Towa Bird is just on the come-up — but she already has so much to celebrate. On Friday night, the Filipina-British singer premiered the video for “messy and fun” single “Drain Me,” which she’s performed on the road with Reneé Rapp.

“I have been documenting this tour on my handy cam and we decided to splice the clips together to make a DIY video, showing you live footage and behind-the-scenes of the show,” Bird tells Rolling Stone. “This specific tour is so unique because I get to hang with my friends every single day and I hope Alexander 23 and Reneé aren’t sick of me.”

The video sees Bird behind-the-scenes and onstage during her opening sets, and also her singing along to the track and playing the guitar. “Playing the opening slot is a sick privilege but because I’m still a developing artist, they don’t know my songs,” Bird adds. “We have the chance to do some convincing.”
