NOCAP
Alabama rapper NoCap has announced The Birdnest Tour, which kicks off September 26 in Charlotte, NC with stops in Atlanta, NYC (October 9 at Irving Plaza), Los Angeles, and more, before wrapping up October 26 at The Midway in San Francisco.
THE SLEEPING
Reunited Long Island emo band The Sleeping have announced a few Northeast shows, beginning at NYC’s Bowery Ballroom on August 17 and then hitting Providence, Albany, and Harrisburg.
WEEN
Ween’s 2023 tour resumes this month with West Coast dates, starting with Los Angeles’ Greek Theatre on July 28. The tour also hits NYC on September 14 at Pier 17.
APARNA NANCHERLA
Aparna Nancherla will be promoting her new tome Unreliable Narrator on a US book tour this fall. The tour kicks off in Brooklyn at The Bell House on September 17 & 18.
AUNTY DONNA
Australian comedy trio Aunty Donna have added more shows to their fall The Magical Dead Cat tour. New dates include Philly, Austin and a third NYC show.
DOGSTAR (KEANU REEVES)
Keanu Reeves’ ’90s band Dogstar are back in action and have just announced their first new album since the year 2000 and a US tour.
THE PRETENDERS
New wave rock vets The Pretenders release a new album, Relentless, in September, and they’ve now announced a headlining club tour supporting it, with North American dates in August, September, and October. The new shows are scheduled around their dates supporting Guns N’ Roses, and include stops at clubs and theaters in NYC, Asbury Park, Washington DC, Detroit, Minneapolis, Los Angeles, and more.
MUNYA
Montreal artist MUNYA has a Baby’s All Right on November 8) and L.A. (The Echo on November 28).
SLAUSON MALONE 1
Slauson Malone 1 just signed to WARP and has announced a headlining US tour in October, following a run supporting King Krule on the West Coast.
THE MOUNTAIN GOATS
The Mountain Goats continue to release new albums at a prolific rate; they’re following last year’s Bleed Out with Jenny From Thebes, due out October 27 via Merge. They’re calling it a sequel to their classic 2002 album All Hail West Texas and will be on tour this summer and fall, too.
CINEMA STARE / WAIVER / 5EVER
Northeast pop punk bands Cinema Stare and Waiver are hitting the road together with 5ever on some dates too, including the Brooklyn show on August 26 at Alphaville. Cinema Stare also play The Fest. All dates and tickets here.

WEAKENED FRIENDS
Portland, Maine’s Weakened Friends will be bringing their ’90s-style indie rock to the people on tour starting September 14 in Cincinnati, with further stops in Indianapolis, Saint Paul, Omaha, Chicago, Pittsburgh, and more, including appearnaces at The Fest and The Don Giovanni Records 20th Anniversary. ONDARA
Kenyan singer-songwriter Ondara will support his new record Spanish Villager No: 3 on tour in September with stops in Chicago, Cleveland, NYC (Knitting Factory at Baker Falls on 9/11), DC, Philly, Truro, Atlanta and more.
THE LOX
The LOX–aka Jadakiss, Styles P, and Sheek Louch–released their classic debut album Money, Power & Respect 25 years ago via Bad Boy Records, and the Yonkers trio will celebrate the album’s anniversary with a hometown-area NYC show in September.
LIL DURK CANCELS SHOWS
Lil Durk has canceled over 20 shows of his upcoming tour, including his Rolling Loud set. In a statement shared with Rolling Stone, the rapper said: “Since I’m still awaiting to get full clearance from my doctors to travel and perform again, I have no other choice but to cancel my headlining Rolling Loud performance. While I’m resting, I am looking forward to my two homecoming shows on the 11th and 12th in Chicago. For the rest of the country, I’ll be announcing new dates soon.”
WARMDUSCHER
London’s debauched merrymakers Warmduscher are returning to America this fall for Austin’s Levitation festival and will be taking another swing around the country while here.
SHAKEY GRAVES
Shakey Graves, who just announced a new album, will be on tour through the end of the year, including shows with Lucius, Abraham Alexander, Trampled by Turtles, flipturn, Rayland Baxter, and Sadurn on various dates.
