STING
Sting will being going on tour with his new power trio and he’s added more shows in Toronto, Boston, Los Angeles, Chicago, Washington, Miami and Port Chester (The Capitol Theatre on October 12 & 13). All dates are here.
HANS ZIMMER
As teased, Oscar-winning composer Hans Zimmer has announced a North American orchestral tour. “I’m thrilled to return to perform in North America with my wonderful band and excited to share this phenomenal show,” says Zimmer.
ACTION BRONSON
Action Bronson is taking his live band Dr Bachlava & The Human Growth Hormone on tour again, this spring with shows in Chicago, Hartford, Atlantaic City, DC, San Diego, San Francisco, and Napa. After summer dates in Europe, he’ll be back in the NYC area to play Asbury Park’s Sea.Hear.Now fest in September.
ROC MARCIANO
NYC rapper/producer Roc Marciano doesn’t usually tour much, so here’s some good news for those on the West Coast that he just announced a May tour with Animoss, including shows in LA, San Francisco, Portland, Seattle, and Toronto.
NICK CAVE & THE BAD SEEDS
With a new album out soon, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds will be on tour this year and have announced UK/EU dates happening this fall with Dry Cleaning, The Murder Capital and Black Country, New Road joining on select dates.
PASSION PIT
Passion Pit announced their first headlining shows since 2019 earlier this week, happening around Just Like Heaven, and they’ve now added two more NYC shows to their schedule.
TWIABP
The World is a Beautiful Place & I Am No Longer Afraid to Die have a few shows lined up in the Northeastern US in May around Providence, RI fest BE NORMAL!, and they’ve added an NYC stop to that run.
THE SLACKERS
The Slackers will be on tour in April and May, hitting the Eastern half of Canada and the US. They’ve also got a NYC show, a Rocks Off Boat Cruise on June 14.
GLASTONBURY 2024
One of the longest running music festivals in the world, Glastonbury holds its 2024 edition June 26-30 at Worthy Farm in Pilton with Dua Lipa, Coldplay, SZA, Shania Twain, LCD Soundsystem, Little Simz, Burna Boy, PJ Harvey, Cyndi Lauper, Michael Kiwanuka, Janelle Monae, and lots more.
THE MUSIC OF CROSBY, STILL & NASH
This year’s “The Music Of…” benefit concert at Carnegie Hall celebrates the music of Crosby, Stills and Nash, and the initial lineup has been announced. It includes Todd Rundgren, Grace Potter, Yola, Iron & Wine, Rickie Lee Jones, Shawn Colvin, Real Estate, Aoife O’Donovan, and more.
LOSERS LOUNGE TRIBUTE TO WOMEN OF CLASSIC COUNTRY
Joe McGinty & The Loser’s Lounge are back to perform the classic songs of the Honky Tonk Angels: Dolly Parton, Loretta Lynn, Tammy Wynette, Emmylou Harris, Patsy Cline, Kitty Wells, and more at Joe’s Pub from April 18 – 20.
INDIEPALOOZA 2024
Rough Trade and Rockefeller Center are teaming up for a third time for the free Indieplaza festival. This year it happens on Record Store Day (4/20) at Rockefeller Plaza, and the lineup includes Dehd, Armand Hammer, Cloud Nothings, Water From Your Eyes, Glitterer, Snööper, Sunny War, Wishy, and more.
SOUND MIND MUSIC BLOCK PARTY FOR MENTAL HEALTH WITH KEVIN MORBY & MORE
The 2024 Sound Mind Festival happens Saturday, May 18 at 2 Wyckoff Ave in Bushwick. Among the things to do at this block party: performances by Kevin Morby, MisterWives, SHAED, and Bailen, as well as Ecstatic Dance ft 2Melo, dance parties at House of Yes and more.
