JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE

Justin Timberlake has added 15 more dates to his upcoming The Forget Tomorrow tour, including Montreal, Detroit, Grand Rapids, Orlando, Charlotte, Knoxville, Louisville, Memphis, Dallas, Nashville, Pittsburgh and more. Head here for all dates.

USHER

Earlier this week, Usher announced a North American tourUSHER: Past Present Future, running from August through September. He’s now added shows in most cities, including Washington DC, Baltimore, Boston, Philadelphia, NYC, Detroit, Denver, Los Angeles, Dallas, Austin, Miami, Atlanta, Charlotte, St. Louis, and Chicago.

AMEN DUNES

Amen Dunes is back and will release Death Jokes, his first album in six years, on May 10, and he’ll tour as well.

LUNA

Dean Wareham and the rest of Luna have a few Midwest dates in March, hitting Minneapolis, Milwaukee, and Chicago.

OWEN

Mike Kinsella (of American Football, Cap’n Jazz, etc) has announced a new Owen album and tour.

BETH ORTON

Beth Orton has a short US tour in March lined up ahead of her appearance at Big Ears in Knoxville. She’ll play Minneapolis, Iowa City, Chicago, Detroit, DC and Nashville.

MONICA OPENING NICKI MINAJ TOUR

Nicki Minaj has revealed that R&B veteran Monica will open her upcoming tour, including the four NYC-area arena shows. Nicki says, “I’ve said many times, this woman has been one of my biggest inspirations since I was in Junior H.S. 🎀 The iconic, trendsetting, Miss Thang herself- hits on hits on hits ✨”

MARCUS KING

Marcus King has announced a new Rick Rubin-produced album, Mood Swings, due April 5, and he’ll be on the road as well.

PAGENINETYNINE / MASSA NERA

Screamo legends pageninetynine have announced a short Midwest tour for April, including some cities they haven’t played in over 20 years. The great newer screamo band Massa Nera will open all dates, and the Chicago show is also with Saetia and City of Caterpillar. pageninetynine and City of Caterpillar also both play Post. Festival in Indiana.

PAGENINETYNINE

METH. W/ PASSIONPLAY, MASSA NERA, TEEN SUICIDE

Having just released their sophomore LP SHAME on Prosthetic, Chicago metallic noise band meth. have announced a tour, including dates with screamo bands Massa Nera and Passionplay and the undefinable Teen Suicide. The run with Massa Nera and Passionplay hits Brooklyn on March 24 at The Kingsland.

NEW FRIENDS FEST 2024

Toronto screamo-centric DIY festival New Friends Fest returns from August 2-4 at Lithuanian House with a good mix of veterans and newcomers, and a handful of rare appearances. The lineup includes newly-announced reunions from hometown Toronto veterans Newfound Interest In Connecticut (first show in 18 years) and the oft-underrated Pennsylvania band We Were Skeletons, plus Italian band Raein‘s first North American show since 2013, Saetia‘s first-ever Canadian show, and more.

ESOTERIC / SPECTRAL VOICE / CHTHE’ILIST

UK funeral doom pioneers Esoteric have announced their first North American tour in over 10 years, marking only their second North American tour ever. It includes shows with Canadian death metal greats Chthe’ilist, Massachusetts death-doomers Vacant Eyes, and Denver death-doomers Spectral Voice, varying by date. It also includes Maryland Deathfest, which Spectral Voice also play.

GLIXEN

Phoenix shoegazers Glixen put out their debut EP She Only Said last summer, and they’re gearing up to release their sophomore EP this year. They’ll also be on tour opening for Interpol, Glitterer, and more.

DAS DAMEN

SST vets Das Damen reformed last summer and have played a handful of shows, including one at Jersey City’s Monty Hall and TV Eye in Ridgewood, Queens. But they haven’t scheduled one in their old Manhattan stomping grounds till now, and they’ve also got a Boston show coming up.

MILWAUKEE METAL FEST

After announcing their initial lineup back in November, Milwaukee Metal Fest has announced the final lineup for its 2024 edition, which happens on May 16-19 at The Rave/Eagles Club. They’ve added nineteen bands, including Municipal Waste, Autopsy, Terrorizer (performing a World Downfall 35th anniversary set), Macabre, Nunslaughter, Gatecreeper, Skeletal Remains, Creeping Death, and more.

DEATH TO ALL

Death To All, the offshoot of legendary death metal band Death featuring former members Gene Hoglan (drums), Steve DiGiorgio (bass), and Bobby Koelble (guitar), with Cynic live/session member Max Phelps on guitar and vocals, have announced “The Scream of Perseverance Tour” with guests Cryptopsy.
