DEVO
Devo clearly have an odd definition of “retirement,” as they keep adding shows. In addition to festival appearances at Beach Life and Punk Rock Bowling, they’ll play headline shows in Chicago and Nashville. All those dates are in May, and you can head here for details.
SIGUR ROS & WORDLESS MUSIC ORCHESTRA
Last summer, Sigur Rós toured with the 41-piece Wordless Music Orchestra, and they’ve just announced they’re teaming up again for fall 2024 US shows.
DRAIN / TERROR / SCOWL / MORE
Drain are doing it again! Like last year, they’re going on a massive headlining tour with so many other bands from the hardcore scene that it’s basically a mini festival. Terror and End It are on all dates, Scowl are on leg one and Angel Du$t are on leg two, and select shows are with Madball, Regulate, King Nine, Twitching Tongues, Mindforce, God’s Hate, H2O, Haywire, Trail of Lies, Mutually Assured Destruction, Cosmic Joke, Dead Heat, and Slugger.
FUMING MOUTH
Fuming Mouth will be touring North America and Canada soon, starting March 11 in Buffalo and wrapping up March 29 in Charlotte. All dates are here.
CEREMONY & FROZEN SOUL ADDED TO POWER TRIP SHOWS
Power Trip recently announced a pair of headlining shows, with Fugitive/Skourge vocalist Seth Gilmore filling in for the late Riley Gale, following their set at new festival No Values, and now they’ve added support to both dates. It’s a killer lineup, with Ceremony and Frozen Soul added to both the Dallas and NYC shows, plus Mil-Spec and Tyrant’s Might in Dallas and Public Acid and The Final Agony in NYC.
KACEY MUSGRAVES
Kacey Musgraves will tour for her upcoming album Deeper Well, with support coming from Father John Misty, Lord Huron, Madi Diaz, and Nickel Creek, varying by date.
RICHARD THOMPSON
Richard Thompson will be on tour starting tonight supporting his new album Ship to Shore.
THE MENZINGERS / LUCERO
The Menzingers, Lucero and The Dirty Nil are going on tour together and the June 7 show at White Eagle Hall in Jersey City sold out so they added a second show on 6/8.
HO99O9
Punk-rap duo Ho99o9 have a few select dates coming up, including LA’s Teragram Ballroom on March 2, Austin for SXSW and Brooklyn’s Market Hotel on April 13 with L.O.T.I.O.N.
JOHNNY JEWEL BIRTHDAY PARTY
Italians Do It Better is throwing a birthday party for label founder Johnny Jewel in NYC. It happens on his 50th birthday, May 31 at Knockdown Center, and the lineup features Black Marble, Desire (Jewel’s project with Megan Louise), Farah, Orion, Mothermary, Joon, DJ Justine D, and Jewel himself.
