THE GO! TEAM
The Go! Team will be celebrating the 20th anniversary of their debut album, Thunder, Lightning, Strike, next year, including live shows. They’ve just announced a few West Coast shows happening in the spring on the West Coast in Vancouver, Seattle, Portland and San Francisco.
TAKING BACK SUNDAY
Taking Back Sunday release their new album 152 on October 27 and they’ve just announced they’ll celebrate with a few intimate shows around the country in early November.
ELVIS COSTELLO & THE IMPOSTERS
Elvis Costello will be taking The Imposters back out on tour in early 2024, once again with Charlie Sexton also playing with the band.
TINA FEY & AMY POEHLER
Tina Fey & Amy Poehler have been on their Restless Leg comedy tour all year and have added more shows, including four at NYC’s Beacon Theatre.
THE LEMONHEADS
The Lemonheads will be releasing new music next year but before that they’ve got a three-night New Year’s run in Chicago with Kiwi Jr opening.
KIWI JR
Toronto’s Kiwi Jr have been getting some choice opening slots this year, including Guided by Voices and Pavement. They’ve got more on the horizon, including a Toronto show opening for the Walkmen, and three NYE shows in Chicago with The Lemonheads. They’ve also got co-headlining dates with Stef Chura and The Gotobeds. All dates are here.
BURNA BOY
Burna Boy has announced the I Told Them Tour which is split into two legs, with a few West Coast dates in November and then more in February and March. Head here for all dates.
ARLO PARKS
Arlo Parks has announced a North American tour in support of this year’s My Soft Machine. Chloe George will be joining her, and dates begin February 29 in San Diego and include stops in LA, Vancouver, Seattle, Denver, Chicago, Nashville, DC, Toronto, Montreal, Boston, and Philly before wrapping things up in NYC.
BLACK PUMAS
Black Pumas have announced 2024 tour dates in support of their upcoming album Chronicles of a Diamond including Philly and NYC shows with Digable Planets.
SOULWAX
The Dewaele brothers are getting Soulwax back together for their first full-band shows in five years. Currently only European dates have been announced. The band were supposed to play US dates in 2020 but the pandemic took care of those. They haven’t played the States in a long time — come back soon.
MICHAEL SHANNON & JASON NARDUCY PLAY REM’S MURMUR
Actor and musician Michael Shannon (The Shape of Water, Revolutionary Road) and Jason Narducy (Bob Mould, Superchunk, SDRE) played ‘Murmur’ in full in Chicago this summer and decided to turn it into a tour. Jon Wurster will be on drums.
LEWSBERG
Dutch band Lewsberg on currently on their first US tour, having kicked things off in Brooklyn last week. Now they’ve announced they’ll end the tour in Brooklyn too with a free show at Mama Tried on October 21 with Weak Signal and Famous Logs In History.
ACTIVITY
Brooklyn band Activity kick off their tour for great new album Spirit in the Room this weekend, playing NYC’s Berlin on Friday (9/28) with WH Lung before heading North across the Canadian border to play Pop Montreal, and other shows.
DADI FREYR
Icelandic artist and Eurovision contestant Daði Freyr released his second long-player, I Made an Album, in August and will tour North America in 2024.
