BUCK MEEK

Big Thief’s Buck Meek has announced 2024 tour dates that kick off May 16 in Ardmore, PA and wrap up May 31 in Washington, DC. There’s currently no NYC date as part of that run, but Buck plays NYC’s Racket on October 27 with Joanna Sternberg and Natalie Jane Hill.

WEDNESDAY

Wednesday have announced an extensive 2024 North American tour that will have them out with Hotline TNT, Lowertown, They Hate Change, Draag, and more.

X XMAS TOUR

LA punk icons X have announced the 2024 edition of their annual West Coast XMAS tour which happens in December and hits Seattle, Portland, Santa Cruz, LA, San Diego, San Francisco and more.

THURSTON MOORE

Thurston Moore was scheduled to begin a book tour for his new memoir Sonic Life later this month, but he’s been advised to cancel by his doctors due to a “debilitating” health condition he’s been struggling with.

STEELY DAN / EAGLES

Steely have had to drop off a few dates of the Eagles tour due to an unspecified condition with Donald Fagen that had him hospitalized, but the band expect to rejoin starting November 2 in Atlanta.

GROUPLOVE / BULLY

Grouplove have announced the 2024 Rock and Roll You Won’t Save Me Tour, which has them out with Bully across the US in February and March. The tour ends in NYC on March 30 at Terminal 5.

THURSDAY

Thursday played three NYC and NJ shows to celebrate the 20th anniversary of War All The Time in September, and in 2024 they’ll be taking the celebration on tour in January and February. They’ll be joined by Rival Schools and Many Eyes, the new band from Every Time I Die vocalist Keith Buckley whose existence was just revealed yesterday.

OPEN MIKE EAGLE

Open Mike Eagle has announced a tour for his new mixtape Another Triumph of Ghetto Engineering which happens in December on the East Coast.

ESG

ESG will be performing live and screening their new documentary ‘Are You Serious?: The ESG Story’ on tour in 2024.

DORIAN ELECTRA

Dorian Electra will head out on the Fanfare World Tour in 2024 with North American dates starting February 22 in Vancouver. Joining them at various points along the way will be Uffie, Frost Children, The Hellp, Babymorocco, Club Eat, Izzy Spears, Thoom, and Grandma. The tour hits NYC on March 9 at Brooklyn Steel with Uffie, Club Eat and Thoom.

DANNYLUX

The 19-year-old DannyLux is one of the breakout stars of the recent regional Mexican music boom, and he’ll be taking his show on the road for the ‘Ambición Tour’ of the US, with stops in Atlanta, NYC (Webster Hall on 11/24), Baltimore, Chicago, and more.

SID SRIRAM

Indian musician Sid Sriram recently released his Def Jam debut Sidharth (recorded at Justin Vernon’s studio with Ryan Olson of Polica producing, and Justin assisting as well), and now he’s gearing up for the Sidharth world tour in 2024, including NYC’s Music Hall of Williamsburg on March 8.

SUNNY WAR

Sunny War has announced 2024 North American tour dates in support of her upcoming album Anarchist Gospel. They include shows supporting Mitski (Brooklyn’s Kings Theatre on February 26-28), Bonnie Raitt, and Chris Pierce, and a few headline shows like NYC’s Joe’s Pub on February 20.

BAR ITALIA

London’s bar italia have added a Brooklyn show to their 2024 tour.

During the writer’s strike, late night hosts John Oliver and Seth Meyers teamed up for a few co-headlining standup shows, and they’ve now announced a monthly 2024 residency at NYC’s Beacon Theatre.

NEW YORK COMEDY FESTIVAL

The 2024 New York Comedy Fest is coming up soon — November 4-12 — and they’ve added some more shows, including a couple at Brooklyn’s Murmrr Theatre: Triumph the Insult Comic Dog on 11/6 and a live taping of podcast Judge John Hodgman on 11/7. Check out the full NYCF lineup here.

Leeds, UK band English Teacher just released their second single for Island Records and will play their first-ever US shows in November.
