Awards season is officially here, with the Golden Globes kicking off a three-month stint of ceremonies that lead up to the 97th Academy Awards in March.

Now, Mattel is getting into the act with its Barbie “Women in Film” set, which features a Barbie studio executive, director, cinematographer and movie star doll, housed in a collectible box. Originally released last year, the Barbie “Women in Film” dolls are back in stock just in time for the 2025 awards season.

Part of the “Barbie Careers” collection, which serves to highlight jobs and positions where women are underrepresented, the Women in Film set features four unique, posable dolls, complete with accessories of their trade: the studio exec sports a blazer and skirt combo with sunglasses on her head and a phone in hand; the director Barbie has on a jumpsuit and holds a viewfinder and script; the cinematographer has a video camera and clapboard (and a T-shirt that reads “Chase Dreams”); and the movie star Barbie is glitzy and glamorous in a sparkling pink gown. Look closely and you’ll even spot an award in her hand.

The Barbie dolls each measure approximately 12 inches in height. Everything comes in an official Barbie box that boasts her famous tagline: “You can be anything.”
