Okay, it’s finally here! After a long wait and a slight last-minute delay, SZA has released Lana, also known as the deluxe edition of SOS. It has 15 new songs, including one featuring frequent collaborator Kendrick Lamar, and it’s presented on streaming services as one 38-song release with all of SOS tacked on at the end. All lyrics were written by SZA, and the album features production from Michael Uzowuru, ThankGod4Cody, Carter Lang, Rob Bisel, Solomonophonic & Monsune, Dylan Newstarter, and others. SZA also appears on two songs on Kendrick Lamar’s new album GNX (one of our favorite albums of this year), and the two of them are going on a co-headlining stadium tour together in 2025, including two nights at the NYC-area’s MetLife Stadium on May 8 and 9.
