Sheffield electro producer 96 Back to launch debut album, Excitable, Girl

Electro, ambient and “dance flooring igniters”.

Sheffield producer 96 Back aka Evan Majumdar-Swift will launch his debut album Excitable, Girl in March on CPU Records.

According to the label, the album’s 11 tracks transfer by means of “dance flooring igniters”, “lush Plaid-like melodies” and “bold ambient moments”. It’s Majumdar-Swift’s second outing for the label after final 12 months’s Provisional Electronics EP.

Majumdar-Swift is the son of Sheffield promoter Matt Swift, who was one of many folks behind the town’s Jive Turkey evening within the 1980s. The album additionally incorporates a visitor spot by UK producer Happa on one monitor, ‘Lezi’.
