Owen Wilson is set to star in a new R-rated father-son comedy called Rolling Loud, which is set at the hip hop festival of the same name. It was written and directed by Jeremy Garelick and stars comedian Matt Rife alongside Wilson. Via Deadline:

Inspired by a true story, Rolling Loud follows an overprotective father (Wilson) who makes a bold parenting decision when he sneaks his 13-year-old son into the world’s largest hip-hop music festival, setting off a chaotic adventure with his reckless co-worker (Rife) and an eccentric festival volunteer as they navigate wild crowds, security, and their own family dynamics.

Filming began at the Miami edition of Rolling Loud this past weekend, where Owen Wilson joined headliner Travis Scott on stage to perform “FE!N.” Watch video of that moment and see more pics of Owen Wilson on stage at Rolling Loud below, and stay tuned for more on the film, which is set to come out in 2025.
