Netflix Debuts First Look At "She-Ra And The Princesses Of Power"
Netflix has been sharing its plans for adding new and exciting content to its platform for a while now. She-Ra follows an orphan named Adora who leaves behind her evil life in Horde. She discovers a magical sword that gives her ultimate powers and transforms her into a mythical warrior princess, She-Ra. As she gets comfortable in her new identity, she finds a new family in the Rebellion and forms a group magical princesses to fight evil.
“She–Ra was ahead its time,” Noelle adds. “I’m so excited to bring these stories female power and love and friendship back now when it seems like we need them more than ever.”
Voicing the characters are some known names such as Grey’s Anatomy alum Sandra Oh, Orange Is the New Black‘s Lorraine Toussaint and black-ish‘s Marcus Scribner.
