MIKE reveals full Young World IV lineup with Earl Sweatshirt, Pete Rock & more, announces afterparty

MIKE has revealed the full lineup for the fourth edition of his mini hometown NYC fest Young World, which, as previously mentioned, goes down on Saturday, July 13 in Herbert Von King Park this year. It’ll include Earl Sweatshirt, Pete Rock, Skaiwater, Stacy Epps, Myaa P, Baby Osama, Stahhr, Sideshow, and MIKE himself, and there will also be on-site vendors from local Black-owned businesses that were all hand-picked by MIKE. As always, it’s FREE. It starts at 4 PM.

MIKE is also throwing an official afterparty this year. It’s hosted in collaboration with Dweller, “the pioneering, independently-funded electronic musical festival platforming Black electronic artists and centering Black perspectives,” and it goes down at Paragon in Brooklyn, starting at 10 PM. They’re calling the party ‘World Dweller,’ and it features performances and DJ sets from Anysia Kym, Detroit in Effect, Dilemma, Klein and WTCHCRFT. The first 150 attendees get in free before 10:30 with RSVP (link appears to be TBA). Tickets will also be available to purchase.

Pete Rock also just announced a collaborative album with Common, The Auditorium, Vol. 1, due July 12.
