Lil Baby’s behavior during past interviews and shows has led fans to speculate online about his drug use. During an interview with The New York Times, he acknowledged that his drug-touting lyrics may play a role in fans’ assumptions.
“I done rapped about drugs that I don’t even take,” he told the outlet. “Like popping Percs. I don’t pop Percs—period. Every now and then, I used to take a half one, but I say it in my raps because I might pop one and that’s what’s going on.”
My Turn saw collaborations with Gunna, Future, Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Wayne, Young Thug, Moneybagg Yo and more. Besides moving 197,000 album-equivalent units upon its Billboard 200-crowning debut, the record also clenched the largest streaming week 2020. On March 13, Lil Baby dropped f the LP’s latest visual, “Grace,” featuring 42 Dugg.
