Brockhampton leader Kevin Abstract has announced a new solo album, Blanket, due November 3 via Video Store/RCA (pre-order). It features the recently-released title track, and he just shared another teaser video from the album called “Gum.” It’s not a full song, but it’s another taste of the new direction Kevin is taking on this album.

“I wanted to make, like, a Sunny Day Real Estate, Nirvana, Modest Mouse type of record,” he says, “but I wanted it to hit like a rap album.”
