Kendrick Lamar debuted “Not Like Us” & “Euphoria,” brought out Black Hippy, Dr. Dre, Tyler & more at LA show

Kendrick Lamar played his first show since his beef with Drake escalated at LA’s Kia Forum yesterday (6/19), which was also Juneteenth. Dubbed “Ken & Friends = The Pop Out,” the show–which streamed live on Amazon Music–began with the live debut of his Drake diss “Euphoria” with new lyrics added to it: “Give me Tupac’s ring back and I might give you a little respect” (a reference to Drake purchasing a ring at an auction that previously belonged to Tupac). He also made the live debuts of his Drake disses “6:16 in LA” and “Not Like Us,” as well as the verse that kicked this latest round off: his verse on Future and Metro Boomin’s “Like That.” He also reunited Black Happy at the show, with ScHoolboy Q, Jay Rock, and Ab-Soul joining him throughout the set, and all coming out on stage together during “Not Like Us,” which Kendrick played multiple times in a row to close out the set.

Kendrick also brought out Mustard (who produced “Not Like Us”), his longtime mentor/collaborator Dr. Dre (for Dre’s own classic “Still D.R.E. and his classic Tupac collab “California Love”), Steve Lacy, YG, Blxst, Big Boy, G Perico, and more. Mustard also opened the show with his own set that featured Tyler, the Creator, Ty Dolla $ign, Dom Kennedy, Roddy Ricch, Steve Lacy, and YG, and before that, DJ Hed did a set that included Cuzzos, Blue Blucks Clan, Westside Boogie, new Top Dawg signee Ray Vaughn, and more.
