Is ‘Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man’ getting a sequel?
Tommy Shelby’s run with the Peaky Blinders comes to a conclusion in movie sequel Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man.
Directed by Tom Harper, the Netflix movie serves as a continuation of the Peaky Blinders series, which came to an end after six seasons in 2022.
A synopsis for the film reads: “Amidst the chaos of World War II, Tommy Shelby is driven back from self-imposed exile to face his most destructive reckoning yet. With the future of the family and the country at stake, Tommy must face his own demons, and choose whether to confront his legacy, or burn it to the ground. By order of the Peaky Blinders.”
Cillian Murphy returns in the lead role, alongside Rebecca Ferguson, Tim Roth, Sophie Rundle, Barry Keoghan and Stephen Graham.
Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man was released in select cinemas, before arriving on Netflix on March 20, 2026.

There are no plans for a sequel to the movie, but work is underway on a continuation of the Peaky Blinders franchise.

As announced in October last year, a sequel series to Peaky Blinders is in development from Netflix and the BBC. The untitled series, which consists of two six-episode seasons, will pick up after events of Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man.
What do we know about the sequel series?
The series, helmed by original creator Steven Knight, will follow the next generation of the Shelby family in Birmingham in 1953.
An official synopsis reads: “After being heavily bombed in World War II, Birmingham is building a better future out of concrete and steel. In a new era of Steven Knight’s Peaky Blinders, the race to own Birmingham’s massive reconstruction project becomes a brutal contest of mythical dimensions. This is a city of unprecedented opportunity and danger, with the Shelby family right at its blood-soaked heart.”
A release date is yet to be announced, but filming on the show began in March 2026.
