Here are the BRIT Awards 2021 nominees
Dua Lipa, Arlo Parks and Yungblud are among the acts to be nominated for the BRIT Awards 2021 – you can see the full list below.
This year’s ceremony was pushed back three months from its traditional February date due to the coronavirus crisis, and will now take place at London’s O2 Arena on May 11.
Those in the running for the 2021 BRITs were announced today (March 31) by BBC Radio 1’s Nick Grimshaw and this year’s BRITs Rising Star winner Griff during a live-streamed online show.
Lipa, Arlo Parks, Celeste and Joel Corry lead this year’s list with three nominations apiece.
“It is an honour to receive these BRIT Award nominations and I’m so grateful for all the love and support,” Corry said. “This feels like a huge moment in my life and a total dream come true.”
Parks, Lipa and Celeste are up for Female Solo Artist alongside Jessie Ware and Lianne La Havas. Lipa, meanwhile, is nominated for British Single (‘Physical’) and Mastercard Album Of The Year (‘Future Nostalgia’).
Parks is also up for Album Of The Year for her debut record ‘Collapsed In Sunbeams’ as well as Breakthrough Artist – a category she shares with Corry, Celeste, Bicep and Young T & Bugsey.
“All I know is that I wouldn’t be here without my team, my family, every single person who’s played my tunes in their cars, bedrooms, kitchens & living rooms,” Parks wrote on Twitter upon the news being announced.

She added: “I take none of this for granted I hope you know that. What a moment…all words are escaping me right now except for thank you. From sketchy demos on my £30 mic in my basement to the BRITs – dreams come true.”
Celeste said: “I genuinely thought I wouldn’t be in with a chance of receiving any nominations, so to be receiving this recognition in just the nominations is astounding for me and I’m so happy to be considered worthy of winning any of these prizes!”
Yungblud, meanwhile, is in the running for Male Solo Artist. He’s up against Corry, J Hus, Headie One and AJ Tracey.
“I have watched the BRITs every year since I can remember,” Yunglud said. “It’s what makes the British music scene so rock n roll. I would watch Oasis and the Arctic Monkeys cause trouble and I always wanted to be there and now to be nominated is mental!!!”
Appearing in the British Group category is The 1975, Bicep, Biffy Clyro, Little Mix and Young T & Bugsey.
Elsewhere, Fontaines D.C. are up for International Group alongside BTS, Foo Fighters, Haim and Run The Jewels. In a statement, RTJ thanked “the gentle and wise souls at the BRIT Awards for recognizing our clear and unquestionable international appeal”.
“We only pray that you can avoid the shame and embarrassment that your failure to award us this prize would bring us all and the strain it may place on the relationship between our great nations,” they added.
Appearing in the Best International Female category is Ariana Grande, Billie Eilish, Cardi B, Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift. The International Male list is made up of Bruce Springsteen, Burna Boy, Childish Gambino, Tame Impala and The Weeknd.
