During the 2016 and 2018 elections, Chauvin reportedly voted in Florida despite claiming residence and paying taxes in Minnesota. While he had a home in Orange County Florida, he technically isn’t allowed to vote there. This is a third-degree felony and can lead to significant jail time.

While it hasn’t been determined whether or not Chauvin will face charges for these allegations, it just goes to show that some people truly believe they are above the law.
