The first day of Glastonbury 2024 has been an action-packed affair: boyband SEVENTEEN made history as the first K-pop group to grace the Pyramid Stage, while Irish folk band The Mary Wallopers played Glastonbury for the second year in a row this afternoon, moving up to the Park Stage from the Crows Nest and Acoustic Stage.
Elsewhere, Paul Heaton and Norman Cook (Fatboy Slim) had a mini Housemartins reunion, as they performed the 1986 hit ‘Happy Hour’ during Heaton’s Pyramid Stage set. Bombay Bicycle Club also brought out Blur frontman Damon Albarn as a special guest to perform ‘Heaven’.
