J. Cole‘s Dreamville festival will make its return to North Carolina in Spring 2024. On Monday, the rapper announced that the music event will celebrate its fourth anniversary on April 6 and 7 in Raleigh. The lineup will be revealed in the lead-up to the festival.

“Dreamville Fest 2023 was a major cultural moment for the spring festival season,” Dreamville Festival President Adam Roy shared in a statement about this year’s event, which featured headline performances from J. Cole and Drake, Burna Boy, and Usher. “We had amazing performances from some of the biggest artists of my generation, and we plan to bring that same energy in 2024! Lineup coming soon.”

Early-bird ticket sales for Dreamville 2024 will begin later this week. Next year’s iteration of the festival will once again be hosted at Dorothea Dix Park, the largest public park in the city. The performance lineup will be curated by J. Cole.

Last week, the rapper celebrated his first Number One on the Billboard Hot 100 as “First Person Shooter,” his collaboration on Drake’s recent release For All the Dogs, debuted at the top of the chart. The song brought his total career Top 10 count to 12, with 72 total entires.

Although Dreamville Festival is celebrating its fourth anniversary, the event was technically launched in 2018. It just had some bad luck. The inaugural fest was first scheduled for September 2018, but was postponed and rescheduled to April 2019 due to Hurricane Florence. Its 2019 iteration sold out, and then the festival was put on hold for the next two years due to Covid-19. It finally made its return last year with Lil Baby as co-headliner alongside J. Cole and reached new heights with this year’s star-studded show.
