Los Angeles, CA – Grammy-Award winning artist Drake is apart yet another big partnership with the news breaking his partnership with streaming platform Caffeine and the Ultimate Rap League (URL).
On Tuesday (February 11), Caffeine revealed that the exclusive multiyear partnership will tap the Scorpion rapper to curate a range live content for the platform. As part the deal, Caffeine will co-produce and live stream rap battles in partnership with the world’s largest battle rap platform, the Ultimate Rap League.
In a statement provided by Caffeine, Drake described the partnership as a “perfect match.”
“I’ve always loved URL and admired what Smack and his team have been able to create,” he began.
“It just wasn’t easily accessible. It’s exciting to be in a position where I’m able to bring Caffeine to the table and help provide URL with the tools they need to elevate the viewing experience and make it more accessible to fans.”
In a post shared to Instagram, URL detailed the ins-and-outs the deal stating the partnership will “deliver a heightened viewing as well as an interactive experience for all who tune in.”
Additionally, Drake has had his own channel where he can live stream and interact with fans at any given moment. Caffeine has recently recruited a number notable artists — including Doja Cat and Offset — to create content for the platform.
