Beverly Hills, CA – A surveillance video recorded last month might come back to haunt DaBaby. In a clip obtained by TMZ, the North Carolina-bred rapper is inside the lobby a Beverly Hills hotel where he gets into an altercation.
The man in the clip is an alleged hotel employee who simply wanted a photo the burgeoning rapper. After DaBaby refused, he followed the man back into the hotel and slammed him into a wall.
The incident occurred on December 19, the day after DaBaby performed at the Shrine in Los Angeles. Shortly after the confrontation, he reportedly left the hotel with his entourage and police were never called.
DaBaby’s attorney Michael Heiskell said, “Any actions taken by DaBaby were likely in self-defense based upon his recall the events and until the video is thoroughly reviewed we have no further comment at this time.”
This marks yet another altercation in DaBaby’s brief rap career. In May 2019, he attacked local rapper Don Trag outside a Massachusetts concert, which Don’s mother said put him in the hospital. He also got into a fight with another local rapper Cam Coldheart at a Louis Vuitton store in North Carolina the same month.
The 28-year-old was arrested in Miami earlier this month for allegedly robbing a Miami promoter at Cafe Iguana in Pembroke Pines. DaBaby reportedly became “enraged” after he was paid a $20,000 performance fee instead the $30,000 he was expecting.
DaBaby and his group friends then allegedly attacked the promoter and another man. They made f with an iPhone 7, credit cards and $80. The alleged victim told police someone doused him with apple juice. He was ultimately released but now faces a battery charge.
That isn’t all. DaBaby is also accused being involved in a nasty fight at The Dallas/Fort Worth Airport this month.
