Candace Owens recently voiced her , claiming that we should  because he was “not an amazing person.” She has continued her  by drawing a line between Black Lives Matter and election periods.

Using her platform on Twitter, the conservative political commentator argued that “white liberals” only care about Black Lives Matter when an election is approaching.

“This chart reveals how much the topic ‘black lives matter’ receives airtime in the media every year,” showing a graph of the search traffic the organization has gotten in the last five years. It shows a spike in 2016 and in 2020.

“You will see it peaked in 2016 and it is now peaking again in 2020. How are black people still falling for this election time narrative?” she asked.

Earlier this week, Owens was criticized for her take on George Floyd, also coming after the black community and urging them to think like her.

“Black lives only matter to white liberals, every 4 years, ahead of an election,” she said. “I’m so sorry to those of you that thought otherwise.”
