BIA releases Cardi B diss track, “SUE MEEE?”

Less than a month after the Kendrick/Drake beef (relatively) quieted down, another rap star is now embroiled in some rap beef, Cardi B, who’s currently feuding with BIA, the rapper best known for “Whole Lotta Money” (and its popular remix with Nicki Minaj). The beef had been stirring for a while, and apparently dates back to BIA suggesting that Cardi has been copying her style, but it seemed to escalate after Cardi dropped her verse on the new remix of GloRilla and Megan Thee Stallion’s “Wanna Be” on Friday (5/31), and the last few bars were widely interpreted as a diss against BIA. BIA tweeted a reply to the verse, and Cardi then hopped on Instagram live to discuss the situation, where she also threatened to sue BIA for allegedly spreading rumors about Cardi cheating on her husband, Offset.

BIA has now responded with a Cardi diss track, “SUE MEEE?,” in which she appears to double down on the rumors (“Put it on your hubby since you love lying on your vows”), and makes multiple references to Cardi not writing her own raps, including a mention of Cardi’s frequent co-writer Pardison Fontaine (“Do I beef with you or do I beef with Pardi?”).
