Bette Midler Facing Backlash After Controversial Melania Trump Comment

Just a month after she caught fireplace for asserting that “girls are the n-word of the world,” Bette Midler is true again in the midst of controversy after making remarks about Melania Trump’s semi-nude British GQ shoot from 2000.

Taking from the flight-themed component of the steamy shoot, Midler, tweeted out: The dry cleansing invoice for the upholstery on Air Force One should be insane.”

Flipping Trump’s FLOTUS title, Midler added the hashtag “#FLOTITS.” Naturally, the joke wasn’t acquired as such by many with a number of customers calling out Midler for her feedback, accusing her “physique shaming” and “bullying.”
