Adrian Brody Joins Rauw Alejandro in His Cinematic Video for ‘Déjame Entrar’

The song will appear on the musician’s forthcoming album, out later this year

Rauw Alejandro has dropped a new single, “Déjame Entrar.” The smooth-talking Latin track was co-produced by El Zorro and MAG, and follows Alejandro’s recent song “Touching The Sky.”

The single is accompanied by a music video, which was shot in New York City and directed by Martin Seipel and produced by ABSNT. The cinematic clip features an appearance from actor Adrian Brody, who plays a friend of Alejandro inquiring about his latest flame.

Alejandro debuted “Déjame Entrar” last week during his performance for the Today Show Citi Concert Series. The musician told Today.com, “This new era, it’s a little bit more classic,” describing it as “‘West Side Story’ — more Broadway.”

“Déjame Entrar” and “Touching the Sky” will appear on Alejandro’s forthcoming LP, expected out later this year. “Touching the Sky” marked his first solo single since the Rosalia-dedicated standalone track “Hayami Hana” last August. He’s since dropped massive collaborations with Sky Rompiendo for “Espectacular,” Alvaro Diaz on “BYAK,” and Shakira with Las Mujeres No Lloran‘s “Cohete.”

The musician confirmed to Today.com that the new album doesn’t have a specific release date yet. “It’s not ready yet, but I hope soon,” he said. “These songs (are) too good to be inside the studio.”

He added, “Nowadays people, they want music every Friday. I think every artist should take his time and just enjoy everything that he’s doing at the moment… it takes time to go to the next level. I think it’s gonna be fire. But something that’s for sure… it’s the opposite of what I did (before). I don’t like to repeat projects.”
