Watch Travis Scott play role in Dwayne Johnson and John Cena’s shock ending to WWE’s ‘Elimination Chamber’

Travis Scott played a significant role in the shock ending to WWE Elimination Chamber on Saturday night (March 1) – see the moment below.

The pro wrestling company ran the event in Toronto’s Rogers Centre, with Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, who plays an antagonistic authority figure on WWE television, demanding that world champion Cody Rhodes “sell his soul” to him in return for becoming the corporate chosen one.

Rhodes told Johnson to “go fuck yourself” and was embraced in a hug from John Cena, who had just won the show’s main event. However, after receiving a signal from Johnson, Cena turned on Rhodes and aggressively beat him down in a shock ‘heel turn’.

All the while, Scott was in the ring alongside the wrestlers at Johnson’s invitation, even joining in with Cena’s brutal attack, kicking Rhodes while he was down.

It is the second time Scott has had a significant on-air role with WWE in recent weeks, after he accompanied Jey Uso on his entrance through the crowd on the episode of WWE Raw that followed Uso’s win at February’s Royal Rumble. His song ‘4×4’ is also the current theme song for Raw.

Scott was not the only rap star to be in attendance at Elimination Chamber, with both Drake and Lil Yachty seen sitting in the front row at the Rogers Centre. Drake’s appearance was particularly noteworthy given it came just days after he had pushed back four shows in Australia and New Zealand due to a “scheduling conflict”.

The ‘God’s Plan’ artist was not acknowledged on camera at yesterday’s event, but pictures of him in attendance began circulating on social media, prompting fans to joke that WWE was “on the wrong side of the kendrick vs drake beef,” with others chiming in to say rival wrestling company AEW should have Kendrick Lamar at one of their events next.

Later this year, Scott will headline Reading & Leeds 2025 alongside Bring Me The HorizonChappell Roan and Hozier. He has also spoken recently about his hopes of collaborating with Sabrina Carpenter and Taylor Swift.
