Noah Cyrus has thrown support behind her dad’s latest release amid claims Billy Ray Cyrus’ family are “genuinely worried” about him.
On Friday (February 7), the ‘July’ singer took to her Instagram stories to share a post about Billy Ray’s latest track, ‘Lost’, writing that she was “so proud” of her dad’s “INCREDIBLE new single”.
His appearance at the January ceremony was plagued by noticeable technical difficulties, leading him to ask if attendees had all fallen asleep and offer to end the set early if they weren’t interested in seeing it.

Fans on social media expressed concern, with one writing at the time: “I don’t mean to be rude, he’s probably going through something. But dang that was a hard watch.”

“You may be upset with me for posting this, but I really could care less at this point,” he wrote. “Me and the girls have been genuinely worried about you for years but you’ve pushed all of us away. Noah desperately has wanted you to be a part of her life, and you haven’t even been there for her… That’s your baby girl. She deserves better. Somehow just like me, she still idolises you though.”
“You should be ashamed of yourself. I will always love you but I no longer respect you as a man. Everyone close to you is terrified to tell you how they really feel. I’m not. Get help.”
Uploading a clip from the music video to his 2009 song ‘Somebody Said A Prayer’, Billy Ray shared a caption that read: “Giving thanks for the California Rain . Praying for the brokenhearted and their pain. Praying for my family. For my children … sons and daughters…and their mother,” he wrote.
“Let this moment be the start of healing for us all. ‘The past does not equal the future.’ Amen”.
