Vince Staples played Terminal 5 with Baby Rose (pics, video, setlist)
Vince Staples recently kicked off his “Black in America” tour supporting his fantastic new album Dark Times, and he hit NYC on Friday night (10/18) for a show at Terminal 5. He took to the stage as Whitney Houston’s 1991 Super Bowl performance of “The Star Spangled Banner” played, beginning the set with Dark Times track “Black&Blue.” The new album was the focus of the night, but he included songs from throughout his discography as well. See his setlist, and attendee-taken video, below.
Baby Rose, who features on “Shame the Devil” on Dark Times, is opening the whole tour. She was accompanied by Biako on Friday night, and did a soulful cover of Fleetwood Mac’s “Landslide.” Pictures from both sets by Edwina Hay continue below.
