Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign’s ‘VULTURES 2’ has now dropped – here’s how people are reacting

Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign‘s long-awaited ‘VULTURES 2’ has now dropped – here’s what people have to say.

The musicians have teamed up for the second instalment of the ‘VULTURES’ series, with the first album dropping in February this year.

Two more volumes were scheduled to drop on March 8 and April 5, respectively. However, ‘VULTURES 2’ failed to materialise in March; the rapper went on to push back its release date a number of times, with West even failing to deliver the album after teasing its arrival yesterday (August 2).

Now, ‘VULTURES 2’ has finally been released – and the reception so far has been mixed…

One user noted West’s penchant for album delays, tweeting: “Kanye when it comes to dropping albums in the middle of the night without warning”. The user then attached a clip of basketballer LeBron James celebrating:

Other social media users, however, weren’t entirely fussed about West’s album dropping at all:

Fans have been hotly anticipating ‘Sky City’, a track reportedly recorded during West’s ‘Yandhi’ sessions. However, people have had lukewarm reactions to the track, with one even speculating West may have used AI:

West also delivered another long-awaited song ‘530’, which was first revealed on an early tracklist for ‘Donda 2’ in 2022. However, along with a stray Drake diss, fans noticed the song – and its mumbled outro – was suspiciously unchanged:

Meanwhile, others reacted to West’s children North and Chicago guest verse on the song ‘BOMB’. Some noted they were rapping in Japanese, with popular streamer Kai Cenat looking confused, whilst others branded the track as “ass”:
