Minecraft is celebrating its 15th anniversary with a special Beats headphone collaboration, that pays homage to the video game’s iconic colors and motifs.
The Beats Solo 4 Minecraft headphones add lime green branding and unicode symbols to Beats’ latest wireless headphones, offering both gamers and audiophiles alike a chance to snag a commemorative collector’s item.
Available exclusively at Target, Beats says the special-edition headphones were inspired by Minecraft’s pixel art textures, adding that the collaboration “unites the world-shaping powers of the most popular sandbox video game with the ultimate on-the-go headphones for music lovers.”
In addition to the metallic green branding, the headphones feature all the Beats signatures, like crystal clear audio with big bass and crisp highs; a built-in microphone for calls and gameplay; and up to 50 hours of battery life on a single charge.
Beats’ “Personalized Spatial Audio” places music all around you for a 360-degree experience, while dynamic head tracking keeps the sound settings consistent no matter how you’re turning (or bopping) to the beat.
The headband is ergonomically designed to be gentle on your crown, while the cushy earpads stay put without being sweaty. Both the headband and ear cups are also adjustable so you can find the most comfortable fit.
This Target-exclusive set gets you the Minecraft-edition Beats Solo 4 headphones, a Minecraft-branded carrying case, a USB-C to USB-C charging cable, a 3.5 mm analog audio cable and a one-year warranty card. Get the Minecraft x Beats collab for $199.99 here.
Target and Amazon also have the regular Beats Solo 4 headphones available right now, on sale for $129.99 (down from its regular $199+ price point). The Bluetooth headphones are available in matte black, “cloud pink” and “slate blue.” See full details here.
The Beats x Minecraft headphones are the latest merch release from the video game franchise. Minecraft has also collaborated with brands like LEGO, Mattel and Nerf.
