Latto Taps Megan Thee Stallion, Flo Milli for ‘Sunday Service’ Remix
Girl Power
The rapper dropped the original version back in February
Latto has dropped a remix of her single “Sunday Service” featuring Megan Thee Stallion and Flo Milli. The new version of the track arrived alongside a music video, which was seemingly shot backstage on tour and features some serious twerking.
“This remix so mf hard,” Latto wrote on Instagram. “Like I really did that.”
Latto released the original version of “Sunday Service” in February after a few weeks of teaser drops on social media. One included a sneak preview of the single’s accompanying music video, in which Latto raps in front of a wall of images of other women in hip-hop — from Missy Elliot and Lil Kim to Sexyy Red and Ice Spice — all with their eyes covered with a black bar, her own included.
Prior to sharing “Sunday Service,” Latto collaborated with Jennifer Lopez on single “Can’t Get Enough,” which the pair performed on Saturday Night Live with Redman. She recently filmed Season 2 of Netflix series Rhythm & Flow as a judge alongside DJ Khaled and Ludacris.
Megan Thee Stallion, meanwhile, appeared on another remix earlier this week: GloRilla’s “Wanna Be,” which also featured Cardi B. The release came just a few days after Cardi B joined GloRilla and Megan Thee Stallion during the New York City stop of Meg’s Hot Girl Summer tour (Glo is an opener), where the trio debuted the remix.
The rapper also recently announced her new LP, Megan, out on June 28 via Hot Girl Productions. Megan revealed the album’s title and release date during a concert in Atlanta, sharing the album art and pre-save link with the audience.
