Eminem has been teasing a new album called The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce), with a mock true-crime film album trailer and fake newspaper clippings declaring the death of Em’s alter-ego, and now he’s shared what is presumably the album’s first single, “Houdini.” The video pays homage to a bunch of classic Eminem videos, with cameos from Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Pete Davidson, Shane Gillis, and more, and the song–which was produced by Eminem and Luis Resto, and samples Steve Miller Band’s 1982 hit “Abracadabra”–sounds like Em is out to channel his late ’90s / early 2000s era too.
