DaBaby gave one upcoming rapper the experience a lifetime during a recent errand.
A young fan by the name City Boy The Rapper appeared on Baby’s Instagram Story on Thursday (May 7), telling the camera his name as he handed Baby his mixtape. When Baby asked how much City Boy was selling his project for, City explained he usually charged $10, but he decided the “My Oh My” rapper could just have it for free.
Not only did Baby pay him for the project, but he also included his Instagram handle in the post to bring potential new fans to City’s page. At the end their interaction, Baby left him with some words inspiration.
“That shit possible,” he said. “Keep it up.”
Pro it being possible himself, DaBaby’s third album Blame It On Baby debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart just last month with roughly 124,000 total album equivalent units sold. This made for his second consecutive No. 1 album and his third Top 10 album overall.
